Residents of the Port Washington Parking District may renew their parking permits at the district offices effective May 1. With current Port Washington Parking District permits due to expire May 31, the new 2011 permits will be available as of May 1 at the district offices, located at 15 Vanderventer Ave.

Following are the dates and times the office will be opened:

• Saturdays, May 1, May 15 and May 22 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Weekdays starting May 3 from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Tuesday, May 4, Thursday, May 13, and Wednesday, May 26, until 8 p.m.

The fee for the parking permit is $15. Visa, Mastercard, cash or checks made payable to the Port Washington Parking District will be accepted.

Residents must provide a current drivers license, vehicle registration and a current utility bill, all with the same name and address.
