Dine Out Thursday to Support PWEF

During 'A Taste of Port,' local eateries will donate proceeds to Port Washington Education Foundation.

This Thursday marks "A Taste of Port," when local restaurants will donate 10 percent of their proceeds to the . 

The event runs from 5pm until closing time. Look for the PWEF sign in participating restaurant windows and mention the PWEF when dining. Participating restaurants include

The PWEF supports initiatives that enhance and expand educational opportunities over and above basic educational needs for all students in Port Washington public schools. Just this year, the PWEF has sponsored the famed Dallas Brass Band, Smart Boards and interactive learning centers, yoga and Turkey Trot training, NY Hudson Lore history and the Halls of Tolerance mobile museum. The PWEF actively seeks donations, grants and government assistance in order to distribute funds to selected programs and resources. Learn more.
