LIAF Hosts Free Food And Wine Tasting and Awareness Event

Nearly 25 local eateries to participate on Thursday.

 

Enjoy a taste of the town on Thursday at the Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation, from 4-8 p.m. There you can sample free wine and food tastings from nearly 25 restaurants.

While there, learn about services offered by LIAF. There will be information about optimizing overall well being, reducing stress, gaining better coping skills, and maintaining cognitive skills for a longer period of time. 

According to the LIAF website, participating restaurants include Aiko Sushi, Aki Asian Fusion, Amalfi Restaurant and Pizzeria, Ayhan’s Shish-Kebab, Baked to Perfection, Bistro Etcetera, Brio Ristorante, Italiano Café Capriccio, DiMaggio’s Trattoria, Dynasty, Finn MacCool's, Gino’s of Port Washington, Green Leaf, Harbor Q, Las Vinas, Rosa’s Pizza, Salvatore’s Coal Oven Pizza, Stresa Ristorante Italiano, Sullivan’s Quay, Thanee Thai Fine Cuisine, Wild Honey, and Yamaguchi Restaurant.
