PWPD Crime Report: April 26 - May 2

Incidents and arrests in the Port Washington Police District over the past week.

 

The following information is taken directly from the Port Washington Police District's Felony Report. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. All complaints listed are only alleged crimes under local investigation.

Arrests:

  • A Baldwin man was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property on April 27 after an automobile was reported stolen from 25 Essex Court on Jan. 13.
  • A Port Washington man was placed under arrest for an open warrant at Port Washington Police District headquarters, located at 500 Port Washington Blvd., on April 28.
  • A Port Washington woman was arrested and charged with assault after a domestic incident took place at 11 Pulaski Place on May 1.
  • A Port Washington man was arrested and charged with burglary for an incident that occurred at 535 Port Washington Blvd. on May 2.
  • A Port Washington man was arrested and charged with criminal contempt at 32 Davis Ave. on May 2.

Complaints:

  • A complainant reported that an unknown person or persons caused criminal mischief at 1 Sands Point Road on April 26. A local investigation is currently underway.
  • A complainant reported on April 27 that an unknown person or persons obtained his personal information, opened several credit cards and made unauthorized purchases. A local investigation of this identify theft is currently underway.
  • A complainant reported on April 28 that an unknown person or persons obtained his personal information and made unauthorized purchases to his credit card. A local investigation of this identify theft is currently underway.
