Many move to Port Washington because of its diversity. The peninsula is dotted with ethnic restaurants, and our local schools are filled with children who are originally from as far away as Israel, Japan, Mexico, Macedonia, Korea, Pakistan, India, Chile, El Salvador and more.
How diverse are we in our own circles? Do you avail yourself to all of the cultural opportunities available?

I am a volunteer ESL tutor at the PW Library. It's incredibly rewarding and I get to meet wonderful people from around the world who are now living in our town!

Ann, that does sound rewarding. Something to keep in mind for those with spare time.
