The Parent Resource Center here in town is offering 2 great classes pregnant
women. If you are pregnant (or know someone locally who is), here's the info:
A childbirth preparation class (good for 1st timers or as a refresher course)
taught by an accredited birthing coach with over 30 years of experience.
Participants will learn what to expect from the birthing experience, pain
management techniques, and hospital policies among other topics. Class will be
held February 11th from 10am - 4pm.
A pregnancy journaling and creative writing class where expectant moms can honor
this incredible time in their lives and enjoy the company of other pregnant
women. Participants will create a journal from scratch and share discoveries
through guided writing exercises.
Class will be held Tuesday evenings from 7 - 8 PM beginning Jan. 31st.

The Parent Resource Center, located in the Landmark Building on Main Street, is a non-profit cooperative and vital part of the Port Washington community. This is a place where adults share the joys and challenges of parenting, while the kids play in a safe environment. Volunteers arrange lectures and parenting classes, adult get-togethers, community initiatives and offer babysitting services. You can even host your child’s birthday party here with one of the Center staff.
