Children with a special interest or talent in art will now have the chance to study with artists Barbara Stein and Elaine Walden. Both artists are trained art educators with many years of experience.
The goal of the classes is to nurture each child’s imagination and creativity by exploring the basic principles of art. Curriculum will include the fundamentals of drawing and painting. Students will use a variety of art materials including paint, pencil and charcoal, clay and oil pastel.
Classes are being offered for students in grades 3-5 and will be held at the Art Loft of Port Washington. The Art Loft is located at 382 Main Street, 2nd Floor in Port Washington, opposite the Town Dock.
