Port Washington native Anne DeAcetis will sing with the Willie Wolf Trio Friday at the Dolphin Cafe at 8 p.m.
The trio features songs by guitarist Willie Wolf mixed with standards and favorites, with DeAcetis on vocals and Fred Ginsberg on trumpet. Styles span from swing to blues and retro R&B.
The trio, and the larger Willie and the Wolves ensemble (guitar, upright bass, drums, vocals, trumpet, saxophone) performs regularly around NYC, but is making its first appearance in Port Washington.
Fall Carnival: Newton Shows will present a fall carnival at Friday through Sunday at Christopher Morley Park, located at 500 Searingtown Rd. in Roslyn. Admission is free. Doors open at 5 p.m. Friday. For carnival times go online to newtonshows.com.
