DOUGLAS ELLIMAN REAL ESTATE BRINGS SOUTH BEACH TO LONG ISLAND

On Wednesday, August 7th, 400 agents, sponsors, and guests descended on Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY for Douglas Elliman Real Estate’s annual “Summer Cool” South Beach Casino and Networking event. The pool area was transformed into a summer oasis complete with a band, casino tables, and fabulous food for agents and their guests to come together to talk about the state of the market, emerging trends in real estate, and to have a good time.

 “The ‘Summer Cool’ event brings together our agents, managers, vendors, and guests in a casual and fun atmosphere. It’s about showing appreciation for our agents and celebrating their successes,” said Ann Conroy, President of Elliman’s Long Island Division.

 Among many of the topics on the lips of agents and guests was the incredible market pace Long Island is experiencing defined by low inventory and fast absorption rates. In fact, the most recent 2Q Elliman Report of Long Island Sales showed that the market experienced the fastest spring market pace since 2005. Although total inventory fell, new inventory entered the market faster than last year making excellent conditions for both buyers and sellers.
