AREA Property Partners Donates $10,000 to Island Harvest

AREA Property Partners, property owners of 1111 Marcus in Lake Success, donated $10,000 to Island Harvest for victims of Hurricane Sandy.

In addition, the tenants of 1111 Marcus collected and donated non-perishable food items to Island Harvest, the largest hunger relief organization on Long Island.

The donation will help Island Harvest assist hurricane-stricken Long Islanders. Island Harvest's mobile food pantries have been visiting some of the hardest hit communities bringing food and personal care items to thousands of residents in need.

"We know the need is great and we want to help those communities and give back any way we can," said George Mullen, General Manager, AREA Property Partners.

Until the salary and benefit package is decreased, there will never be a reduction in the cost of education in Port Washinton.

if we are going to sell off our 40 spot lot why not advocate for the LIRR to chip in and helpRead More building the 2 or 3 story parking lot on Haven? with more trains and more population we need more parking. we are fooling ourselves that this is not a "Hicksville" type train station. we are a main hub and it needs a substantial parking lot that will help commuter parking and help retail parking in the main lots off of main street. anyone who does not want that parking lot built needs to really ask themselves why not. if we can build a new car wash on a main cut through street for no reason we can get this done with the same traffic nightmares!!!
