Come One! Come All! Children’s Circus Returns to Manhasset

The Manhasset Rotary Club proudly presents the 12th annual Manhasset Children’s Circus on Thursday, September 27 at Memorial Field located near the Manhasset High School. There will be two shows, 4:45 and 6:45.
The circus is free for children grade 6 and under. Adult tickets and for those children in grades 7 and above can be purchased in advance at five different locations: Citibank, 66 Bayview Ave; Prudential/Douglas Elliman Real Estate, 154 Plandome Rd; Coldwell Banker Real Estate, 600 Plandome Rd; AT&T-Ranger Wireless, 376 Plandome Rd.; and Daniel Gale/Sotheby’s International Realty, 364 Plandome Rd. Tickets are $ 10 each when purchased in advance and $ 15 when purchased at the gate. It is advisable to purchase tickets in advance.

The Zerbini Circus is a full-fledged one-ring circus under the big tent and has thrilled children and adults alike for the past eleven years. It includes clowns, acrobats, jugglers, and lots of trained animals. There are animal rides for children available in the field before performances and don’t forget the popcorn, cotton candy and other goodies to enjoy while watching the performance. The acts change each year so that there are always surprises, even for those who have attended before.
The circus is made possible by the generosity of its many sponsors and donors. Manhasset Rotary would like to thank its sponsors, King Kullen, Prudential/Douglas Elliman Real Estate, Americana Mortgage, Daniel Gale Real Estate, Accents on Real Estate, AT&T-Ranger Wireless and Americana Manhasset, as well as the many donors who contributed ads to the event’s journal.
Manhasset Rotarians work hard to bring the circus to the community with all proceeds going to various charities, such as the International Gift of Life program that provides life saving heart surgery to children in need, Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck, a camp for special needs children, Wounded Warriors, and many, many others. It also provides scholarships to St. Mary’s and Manhasset High School graduates. Please support the Manhasset Rotarians by attending this joyous event.
