UJA-Federation Partners with Greater LI Running Club in First Ever Aqua Run

UJA-Federation of New York is joining together with The Greater Long Island Running Club to sponsor a new multi-sport charitable event, Summer’s Not Done Aqua Run, to benefit over 100 social service agencies.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 16, over 600 participants will enter South Oyster Bay in Massapequa for an 800 meter swim, followed by an eclectic 3 mile run to and through the TOBAY Beach Bird and Game Preserve.

Individual awards will be presented to the Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female Overall and Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female Masters and the top 3 men and women in each of the following age groups:  13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over.
Two person relay team awards will be presented to the Top 3 Male, Top 3 Female and Top 3 Co-ed Teams Overall, the Top 3 Male, Top 3 Female, and Top 3 Co-ed Masters Teams and the Top 3 Family Teams (Family team entries can only include parent(s), immediate children, spouses and/or siblings.)

The cost to register for individuals is $40 for pre-registration and $45 on the day of the race, if not sold out. The cost to register for teams is $50 for pre-registration and $60 on the day of the race, if not sold out.
