BREAST CANCER SUPPORT GROUP for Women 40’s and Younger at Women’s Therapy Center in Plainview, NY

PLAINVIEW, NY- Please join us for this free support and networking group for young women diagnosed with breast cancer (40’s and under). Whether you are newly diagnosed, still in treatment, ongoing treatment or a few years out, this group is for you.  Our group is a safe, warm and confidential space where you will meet and connect with other young women who have faced breast cancer.


Facilitated by Jennifer Kolton, LCSW a Cancer Specialist at the Women’s Therapy Center in Plainview, and organized by the Young Survival Coalition (YSC.org) the group will focus on issues and concerns such as: treatment side effects, sexuality and body image, nutrition and stress management, fears of recurrence, dating and intimacy, how to talk to loved ones and children about cancer, and many more topics.  In addition, we will have guest speakers, education workshops, social events and more.


Jennifer has been counseling only women with breast and female (gynecological) cancers since 2009.  Individual counseling and navigation services are available as well.  The Women’s Therapy Center is dedicated to women’s genital, emotional, and sexual health throughout the lifecycle.
