Buckley Country Day School recently held its annual Red and Blue Banquet, honoring the schools top student-athletes for the spring season. Two of those standouts were Emma Deutsch of Flower Hill and Jack Davis of Sands Point.

"It was amazing to celebrate and honor our wonderful student-athletes and coaches who have worked hard in their respective sports this past year,” said Roney Eford, Buckley Country Day School’s Director of Athletics. “They all should be proud of their accomplishments this past athletic season."

The overall goal of the Banquet is to honor, celebrate and reflect on the spring season—and the athletic year as a whole.

Emma Deutsch, daughter of Mr. Eric and Mrs. Stephanie Deutsch of Flower Hill, earned two honors. In addition being named the Most Improved Player on the seventh and eighth grade girls lacrosse team, Emma was awarded The Joan Betts Spirit Award.

Jack Davis, son of Mr. Richard and Mrs. Denise Davis of Sands Point, was named the Most Valuable Player of the fifth and sixth grade boys lacrosse team.
