Butterflies are Free! at Sands Point Preserve

Saturday, May 10
Two Sessions: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. & 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
Pre-registration is required.

There is so much to learn about this delicate creature: the monarch butterfly. We will look at each part of its body, how and what it eats, and how it grows and survives, including its magnificent transformation from egg to caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly. The first thirty families that sign up can bring home a chrysalis provided by the instructor.

Admission: $10 per car / free with Annual Pass.

Pre-registration is required - please email your name, preferred session start time (11:00 a.m. or 12:00 p.m.), and the number of adults and children (with their ages) to info@friendsspp.org.
