EAC Network's 14th Annual LIGHT OF HOPE Luncheon Raises Almost $115,000

EAC Network’s 14th Annual LIGHT OF HOPE Luncheon, presented by Bethpage Federal Credit Union, was held on Wednesday, March 12th, 2014 at the Crest Hollow Country Club. The annual event raised almost $115,000 for the agency’s many programs and services.

EAC Network was proud to honor Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano and Angela S. Anton of Anton Community Newspapers, who was also a sponsor, for their service and commitment to the community. “We are extremely grateful to Ed Mangano, Angela Anton, Bethpage Federal Credit Union, and all our sponsors for their generosity and support and for making this a successful event once again,”stated Lance W. Elder, President & CEO of EAC Network. “The donations raised here today will significantly improve the services we offer to our clients.”

EAC Network’s Meals on Wheels (MOW) program specifically benefitted from the event’s Table Appeal, which raised over $6,000 on its own. “We are truly thankful for the gracious donors of the Table Appeal,” stated Carol O’Neill, Regional Director of Senior & Nutritional Services. “It is because of such generous and continued support that MOW is able to provide more than just food to homebound seniors.”
