FOL Paperback Swap Saturday Oct. 19: All ages welcome!

The Friends of the Library's Paperback Book Swap returns Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the library's meeting room.  This popular, twice yearly event typically draws hundreds of patrons, who exchange thousands of books — all for free. The Swap is an opportunity to clear your shelves while having your pick of new reading material.  Many library patrons enjoy lingering at this event, sharing book recommendations, and children and teens will find many classics as well as the latest popular reads. Attendees are urged to bring their paperback adult, teen and children's books – good condition only! –but please, no more than 20 books donated per person. Books are not accepted outside library or in lobby. Browsers are welcome, even if you have no books to donate, and  you can take as many books as you like.  Note that an exception is made for hardcover children’s books including board books.   Books will not be accepted after 3.30 pm.  For more information see pwpl.org/fol or contact the Friends at fol@pwpl.org
