HEARTS and Sixteen Handles Partner for Fundraiser

Now that Spring is here, it is the perfect time for a soft yogurt complete with toppings.  Who can resist

soft serve yogurt dripping with toppings as a family outing on a warm Spring evening? 

HEARTS is pleased to announce a fundraiser in partnership with 16 Handles, 1005 Port Washington Boulevard!

On Thursday May 15th between 7:30 PM and 10:00 PM a portion of all sales of soft serve yogurt and toppings at 16 Handles will be

donated to HEARTS.  This fantastic fundraiser will be promoted at The All County Concert at Schreiber High School on May 15th.  Flyers will be handed out to remind everyone to go celebrate by walking down the street and buying a soft serve yogurt,  with the added benefit of supporting HEARTS.

 

HEARTS is an independent, grassroots not-for-profit 501(c)3 community organization whose mission is to add meaningful value to children's lives and our community by supporting, promoting and enriching the arts in Port Washington and its' public schools. In 2014, HEARTS was thrilled to award 18 grants totaling over $30,000 to enrich art, music, theater, and writing programming throughout the Port Washington School District. 

 

HEARTS biggest fundraiser PortFest 2014 will be held on May 17, 2014 from 11:00 to 5:00 at Schreiber High School campus in Port Washington  This fun family festival to will feature local artists, musicians and performers of all ages.  There will be interactive arts and crafts for the whole family, plus demonstrations, delicious foods,  This groundbreaking annual event serves to celebrate, strengthen and promote the unique culture, arts and community of Port Washington while raising funds to support quality creative arts education in our public schools.
