OurHarvest Schedules Second Pick-Up Day in Port Washington Community

WHAT:  OurHarvest, a new, locally-based online food market, will host a pick-up location in the Port Washington community on July 18 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Through OurHarvest’s website, www.OurHarvest.com, Long Islanders can place orders for fresh, all-natural products at family-friendly prices. The deadline to place an order for this pick-up is July 15, 2014 at 11:59 p.m EST. OurHarvest visits Port Washington twice per month.

OurHarvest partners with local and regional farms and fishermen to provide high-quality natural food to consumers. For every order of $25 or more, OurHarvest donates a meal to local food pantries on Long Island to help combat hunger.

OurHarvest was founded by Scott Reich and Michael Winik, two childhood friends from Roslyn Heights, who left their previous jobs as an attorney and investment banker, respectively, to pursue their dream of owning a local business with a strong social mission.
