At its annual reorganization meeting on July 1, members of the Port Washington School District Board of Education took their oaths of office for the 2014-15 school year.
The Board of Education re-elected Karen Sloan for a sixth term as board president, and elected trustee Nora Johnson as vice president.
“Thank you to all of my colleagues on the board for your continued confidence in me,” Sloan said. “I’m really looking forward to another wonderful year in this school district.”

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kathleen Mooney joined reelected trustees Alan Baer and William Hohauser and the remaining members of the board in simultaneously taking their oaths of office. Assistant Superintendent for Business Mary Callahan, also district clerk, and Human Resources Administrator Elaine Fenick, also deputy district clerk, were sworn in.
