Port Washington Elementary School Students Move Up

Fifth-graders at Daly, Guggenheim, Manorhaven, Sousa and South Salem elementary schools in the Port Washington School District recently took part in ceremonies that marked their transition from elementary school to middle school. Principals offered congratulatory remarks to students at their respective schools, commending them for their diligence and dedication to their academic studies.

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kathleen Mooney, who attended each of the ceremonies, congratulated students on their transition to Weber Middle School, and encouraged them to remain positive, hard working and charitable while promoting happiness among others through their actions. The district congratulates all students and their families, and wishes them well as they move on to the new chapter in their lives.
