PWSCC member celebrates 70th birthday

Port Washington resident Bobbie Schwartz, a member of the Port Washington Senior Citizens Center, got a nice surprise when she came to attend her regular Monday morning art class with instructor Barbara Silbert on February 24.  PWSCC director Dolores Holliday presented Bobbie with a cake, and everyone at the senior center sang “Happy Birthday.”  Bobbie is 70 years young, and regularly attends art & exercise classes at  PWSCC.  She also enjoys going on trips with the center.

Port Washington Senior Citizens Center is located at 80 Manorhaven Blvd., and offers a variety of programs, including yoga, tai chi, karate, Silver Sneakers exercise, sketching, painting, sewing, and knitting & crochet, as well as beginner computer instruction.  For more information about any of these programs, or upcoming trips, contact Nina Gordon at 516-883-6656.
