Caregiver Support Group Announced at Shelter Rock Library
Participants encouraged to share experiences.
The Nassau County Office for the Aging is coordinating a support group at the Shelter Rock Public Library that is specifically targeted to respond to the needs of caregivers of older persons.
The group is led by Sari Flesch, A.A., B.A., support group facilitator, and will provide an opportunity for participants to share experiences and help one another.
The next meeting will be held on Aug. 20 at 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Shelter Rock Public Library, 165 Searingtown Rd., Albertson.
Subsequent meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of each month thereafter. The meetings are open to residents of Nassau County.
