Jerusalem Is Mine Concert

The Community Synagogue Celebrates Its 60th Anniversary at The Port Washington Public Library.

Jerusalem Is Mine Concert - Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 2 p.m.

Jerusalem is Mine:  A program of music celebrating the land of Israel. The concert will feature Cantor Claire Franco, an ensemble from The Community Synagogue, as well as Makelah — A Jewish Community Choir. The program will be accompanied by Steve Belfer. A reception will follow the concert.

Jewish Life at Home, Jewish Life in the Synagogue Exhibit - February and March. During the months of February and March: A display of the 60-year history of The Community Synagogue designed by graphic artist and congregant, Aaron Morgan. Also, a major exhibit of antique Judaica dating from the Iron and Bronze ages, to 18th and 19th century ritual items used in the home and synagogue, to 21st century pieces representing Judaic craftsmanship today.

The concert and the exhibit are free to the community.
