10:30 am: Rosh Hashanah Morning at United Methodist Church, 35 Middle Neck Road, Port Washing
3:00 pm: Family Service at Port Jewish Center (PJC), 20 Manorhaven Boulevard
4:30 pm: Tashlich Service at Manorhaven Landing. Tashlich, literally “you shall cast,” is a ritual by which we symbolically cast our sins—represented by pebbles or bread crumbs—into a moving body of water. This is a short informal service with shofar and guitar, followed by personal time for the casting of crumbs.
Free babysitting is provided during Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur evening and morning services for children 10 and under.
