Holiday Gift Fair Next Week

The Sisterhood of The Community Synagogue of Port Washington to hold a Holiday Gift Fair on Nov. 17.

This year marks the first time since 1888 that Chanukah will coincide with Thanksgiving Day.

The Sisterhood of The Community Synagogue of Port Washington will hold a special Holiday Gift Fair on Sunday, Nov. 17.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Community Synagogue, 160 Middle Neck Rd.

Admission is free and open to the entire community.

Gift items will include jewelry, watches, accessories, personalized stationery, baby gifts, kids clothing, tie dye clothing, accessories, and personalized gifts for children and adults, plus items from the synagogue’s Judaica shop including menorahs, dreidels, Chanukah decorations, and more.

Proceeds from the fair will benefit the Sisterhood of The Community Synagogue’s many enrichment programs and support for the local community and the Jewish world at large.

Chanukah begins at sundown on Nov. 27 and continues through Dec. 5.
