Nearly 65 puppies and dogs saved by Animal League America’s Rescue Team and National Mill Dog Rescue are slated to arrive a North Shore Animal League America on Monday.
The canines come from commercial breeding operations in Oklahoma. They rang in size, age and breed, including Shar-Peis, Shih Tzus, Maltese, Schnauzers, King Charles Cavaliers, Yorkshire Terriers, French Bull Dogs and Chihuahuas.
Once evaluated medically and behaviorally, and spayed or neutered, the puppies and dogs will begin to be available for adoption on Saturday.
