Ribbons for Sydney

Friends decorate Main Street in Port Washington, keeping injured girl in their prayers.

Main Street is adorned with ribbons made of light blue and purple, the favorite colors of Sydney, a third grade girl injured in a sledding accident on Feb. 10.

Friends of Sydney braved February's blustery winds as they hung bows made of ribbon donated by S. F. Falconer, which also helped them create the bows.

While Sydney remains hospitalized, but stable, community members wanted to show their support.
