Weekend Edition: Flowers, Dancing and Cinderella

Doings in Port Washington.

Happy April Fools Day, Port Washington, and that’s no joke. According to Wikepedia, the earliest recorded association between April 1 and  foolishness can be found in Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales (1392).

What won’t be fooling around today is the weather:  a mixture of rain and snow, then changing to all rain after 10 a.m. Although little or no snow accumulation is expected, it will be a nasty day: rain, 43 degrees, winds gusting to 24 mph.

That said, get out and enjoy an early start to the weekend:
