The first snow fall of the season fell on Port Washington Sunday.
With temperatures hovering below the freezing mark, the white stuff began to fall as the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony was beginning at Blumenfeld Family Park at about 4:30 p.m.
The snow is expected to give way to rain later tonight with warmer temperatures expected Monday.
