Cinema on the Bay to Feature 'Annie' Saturday

Popular film showing at Sunset Park this weekend.

According to many who live here, Port has it all: warm, friendly residents, picturesque views and an inviting Main Street with unique retailers and a broad array of eateries.

In the summer, The Town of North Hempstead and Residents for a More Beautiful Port Washington host a free summer-long film series, “Cinema on the Bay.” Screened at waterfront Sunset Park, Cinema on the Bay will show its third movie, “Annie,” on Saturday July 27 at 8:30 p.m.

The Town of North Hempstead and Residents for a More Beautiful Port Washington say they work hard to preserve and beautify open spaces for residents to enjoy. The quaint hamlet overlooking Manhasset Bay is a perfect example of why North Hempstead has been named one of the best places to live in America.

On this particular evening, the entire community is invited to take part in this performance piece.
