Art From the Heart, a Holiday fundraiser to benefit The Art Guild's scholarship program, will be on exhibit from Saturday, November 20th through Saturday, December 18th, with an opening artists' reception and holiday party on December 5th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Artists are being asked to donate a work of art on a 10 x 10 wood panel, to be supplied by The Art Guild, which will each be sold for $100. The proceeds from this sale will go toward a scholarship program for students chosen in recognition of their talent and dedication to the visual arts.
This is a great way to become acquainted with The Art Guild of Port Washington and the many opportunities it offers to the community. The exhibit and reception will be open to the public. Artists are encouraged to pick up a panel from The Art Guild located at Elderfields Preserve, 200 Port Washington Boulevard in Manhasset, New York. The deadline for all finished artwork is Sunday, November 14th at 6 pm. The gallery is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00-5:00 PM or by calling (516) 304-5797 for an appointment.
