CALL FOR ARTISTS! Contemplating Still Life: The Art of Every Day Objects

CALL FOR ENTRIES: The Art Guild invites all artists, 18 years and older (high school students ages 14-18 years may enter in the student category), to submit 2D artwork of a still life executed in oil paint, pastel, ink, water based paints or mixed media for consideration for "Contemplating Still Life: The Art of Everyday Objects", a juried  art Competition and Exhibition. All work must be original and done by hand. No mechanical reproductions, Giclees or photography. The selection committee's decision is final. Please submit your creative interpretations of still life subjects. Works to be included in this 

exhibition must be available from February 15 to March 20, 2011.

AWARDS:  1st Place - $300, 2nd Place - $200, 3rd Place - $100. Student Award and  Honorable Mention certificates will also be awarded.

ENTRY FEE:
$25.00 for two entries for The Art Guild member
$35.00 for two entries for non-member
$15.00 for two entries for high school students (14-18 yrs.) 

Postmark Entry Deadline February 1, 2011. Entries will not
be returned.
