Be A Human Compass & learn about navigation on Linda’s Giant 6 foot map of Long Island
Play  Which Direction Should I Go, children will review or learn the compass points and direction based on a floor marking. They will then be invited to draw a game card from the deck and using graph coordinates find light houses around Long Island. They will then be offered a more difficult deck of cards which require them to look at the map and explain the directions (N, S, E, W, etc) to get from a map coordinate to a specific light house. This program is geared for kids from preschool through 5th grade.
