This class will focus on Realism and include drawing (accuracy, proportion, perspective), mixing colors, color techniques and glazing. Emphasis will be placed on working with values and using warm and cool tones to create depth. Students will work from the still life or from large photographs of landscapes. There will be lectures, demonstrations and homework. Our goal is to create a high quality realistic work. Students will work at their own pace. Materials list available upon registration
