Residents for a More Beautiful Port Washington Hosts Party in the Park!

Castle Bounces, Ices, Cotton Candy, Carnival Games, Music, Face Painting, Louie Miranda Performance and More….

Residents for a More Beautiful Port Washington will be hosting their annual “Party in the Park” on Sunday, September 25th, from 1-4pm at the Blumenfeld Family Park adjacent to Landmark across from the library. If inclement weather the event will be held in the Landmark Gymnasium. Then at 4pm Landmark will be hosting a FREE performance by Louie Miranda in the Jeanne Rimsky Theater.

This year, Blumenfeld Family Park will be transformed into a fun filled “CARNIVAL”. The party is geared towards kids 10 years and younger and their families. “We are committed to making this year’s party/CARNIVAL bigger than ever to accommodate the overwhelming turnout we had last year,” said Residents’ Director of Development Mariann Dalimonte.

Festivities will include carnival games, two bouncers, inflatable 3 in 1 obstacle course, inflatable Mini All Star Pro Hoop, Cotton Candy; Port Washington Fire Truck to explore; Turtle and Lizard to touch by Alley Pond Environmental Center; face painting by Dvora’s Art Studio and more…

At 4pm in the Jeanne Rimsky Theater Landmark will present a Bilingual singer songwriter, Louie Miranda, for a fun-filled interactive concert that will have you bailando y cantando! Musicians young & old bring your instruments or borrow one of theirs & be part of the band!

Residents invites the entire community to bring their children, grandkids and anyone looking to have a great time in the park.  Residents is suggesting a $5 donation per child for this fun filled afternoon.
