Second Annual Asian American Festival

In celebration of North Hempstead’s growing ethnic diversity, Supervisor Jon Kaiman and the Town Board proudly announce the Town’s second annual Asian American Festival, a beach-front gala of food, folk art and performance from Japan India, China, Korea and Pakistan.

Featuring performances and folk art such as Japanese Taiko Drumming, traditional Chinese lion dancers, Indian henna tattooing and a Korean Hanbok fashion show, the festival will also showcases a mélange of culinary delights indigenous to Asian cultures from across the globe.
