Summer Opera Series at Sands Point Preserve: DON PASQUALE

Spend an elegant evening in the historic Hempstead House with breathtaking views of the Long Island Sound, as the North Shore Music Festival performs in the Palm Court “piazza.”  The evening starts at 6:00 p.m. with a pre-concert light dinner and wines included in the ticket price of $75 (discounts for 3 or more tickets); guests are invited to tour the newly renovated Guggenheim Gardens and meet the performers.  Gaetano Donizetti's Don Pasquale is a delightful comedy about marriage as a young couple in love thwart a manipulative father's control.  The performance will start at 7:00 p.m., and dessert will follow.

Audiences will also hear a special concert by the estate's extraordinary Wurlitzer Opus 442 Theatre Organ by Alan Lush.
