Glen Cove's Ashanti to Sing National Anthem at Pacquiao-Bradley Fight

Glen Cove’s own Ashanti will sing the National Anthem at the  Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley fight on April 12 at the MGM Grand Gardem Arena. The event will air live on HBO Pay-Per-View at 9 p.m., according to Top Rank.

A Grammy Award winner, Ashanti says she is a “huge fan” of Pacquiao, and said yes when the fighter approached her about performing the National Anthem, Top Rank reports. The two met at a Knicks game back in February. 

Ashanti’s album, “Braveheart” was released March 4, and is being distributed by eOne Music, which has a 100,000-square foot distribution center in Port Washington.
