Live Music in And Around Port Washington

Weekend happenings.

Poppa Cold Front will perform popular songs of yesterday along with original material at Dolphin Bookshop Café on Friday, 7 p.m.

See The East End Trio, Doug Morrow on drums, Mike Munzer on guitar and vocals and Lester Saldinger on bass and vocals, performs music from the ‘60s to the present featuring a mini-tribute to The Eagles. Port Washington Public Library, Friday, 7:30 p.m.

The choir of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Port Washington will present its 12th annual performance of Handel's Messiah, including a 13-piece orchestra. Featured soloists: Maria Whisenend, soprano; Deborah Berruete-Fuhrman, mezzo-soprano; David Reck, tenor; and Daniel Klein, bass. St. Stephen's minister of music, Mark van Schenkhof of Port Washington, will conduct the St. Stephen's choir. Admission is free but space is limited, so arrive early to ensure seating. Sunday at 4:30 pm
