Play Troupe President’s 'Alice' Staged in Massachusetts

Southwick-Tolland Regional High stages Pamela Meadows adaptation of "Alice in Wonderland."

A Western Massachusetts high school mounted last weekend a production of “Alice in Wonderland,” staging an adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic stories completed in 1973 by Port Washington’s own Pamela Meadows, president of Play Troupe.

Former Port resident (and Play Troupe President Emeritus) Janet Grunwald led technical production of the show at Southwick-Tolland Regional High.

Meadows’ adaptation of “Alice” was seen last March in Port, when it marked the revival of Play Troupe’s Children’s Show (directed by company VP Diana vonRoeschlaub).

Auditions for the next installment of the Children's Show are slated for early 2014.
