Reminder: Library to Present Burt Young One Man Show Sunday

"Artist Found In Port Washington Flat," to run Jan. 5 and Jan. 10 at the library.

The Port Washington Library will present Sunday a one-man show starring local resident and actor, Burt Young

"Artist Found in Port Washington Flat," written, starring and directed by Young, takes a riveting look inside the life and mind of actor and artist Arthur Taylor, who is trying to hold back the hands of time.

Young made his name playing rough-edged working class Italian-American characters, the best-known example being his signature role as Sylvester Stallone’s brother-in-law Paulie in "Rocky" (1976), for which he received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

A painter whose art has been exhibited in galleries throughout the world, including at the Port Washington Public Library, Young is also a published author whose works include two filmed screenplays and Endings, a historical novel.

Performances of Artist Found are Sunday, Jan. 5 at 3 p.m., and Friday, Jan. 10 at 7:30 p.m.
