Salem Elementary Holds First Art Show

The show featured work from every student.

Creativity is alive and well at .

This was evidenced by a recent art show held at the school. The show featured works from each of art teacher Marilyn Turtz's students. 

The work included painting, collage, puppetry, architectural constructions, sculpture and a multimedia project which combined art, music and literature. This variety highlighted the breadth and depth of Salem's art program. Continuous musical entertainment, courtesy of Alison Friedman's students, added to the festivities.

Also on tap: Refreshments, which were available in the cafeteria just outside Salem's Spring Book Fair. 

The evening highlighted the school's strength in community as families, students, teachers and administrators celebrated the artistic achievements of Salem's creative young artists.
