Tony Nominee Coming to Port Washington

Shortly after Stephanie J. Block learned she was a Tony nominee Tuesday morning for her role as Alice Nutting/Edwin Drood in Broadway’s “The Mystery of Edwin Drood,” her cell phone nearly gave out from so many calls from well-wishers.
“My phone was 'blowing up' with love and congratulations,” she told playbill.com. “We, literally, had to stop at a rest stop on the NJ Turnpike to buy a phone charger.”
She added, “I am a lucky and grateful lady!!”
Fans may feel lucky as well to know that there are still some balcony tickets available for Block’s performance at Landmark on Main Street, which is holding its spotlight gala on Friday, May 10. Seats for the concert only are $65; $300 for the concert and gala in the tented reception space.
The gala will feature gourmet foods and beverages prepared by Port Washington’s H on the Harbor.
