Win 2 Tickets to Exclusive 'Gatsby' East Egg Screening
Shown in Port Washington, the film will be introduced by its director, Baz Luhrmann
The “Great Gatsby” won’t hit the theaters until May 10. But thanks to a Gold Coast International Film Festival contest, one local winner will score two tickets to an exclusive pre-world release May 8 screening of the long-awaited film that stars Leonardo DiCaprio.
The film will be introduced by its director, Baz Luhrmann, at the screening at the brand new Soundview Cinemas in Port Washington, at 5:30 p.m.
The winner will also gain entry to the Gatsby-era after party, at a Friends of the Sands Point Preserve Gold Coast mansion, harkening the days of the so-called "Gatsby house," Lands End, which was built in 1896 in Sands Point but torn down April 16, 2011.
The 2013 version also stars Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton, Isla Fisher and Jason Clarke.
