Get Ready for Holiday Magic in Port

Holiday revelers take note. This Saturday marks Port Holiday Magic, a community-wide event from morning till evening. The day promises great shopping, dining, strolling and enjoyment, beginning at 10 a.m. with carolers, live music and street performers from 4-8 p.m.

Port Holiday Magic will extend from shops and eateries along Port Washington Boulevard, Main Street and Shore Road. Key locations for entertainment include the  and the corner of Main Street and Shore Road. Look for Santa and his elves at the corner of Main Street and South Maryland Avenue, and bring a camera.

The event is sponsored by committee members from local businesses, along with the (BID), the , , and the . 

Travel around to the various events for free by trolley. The BID and the Town of North Hempstead are co-sponsoring two old-fashioned trolleys.
