Main Street vendors gave trick or treaters a chance to re-do Halloween.

Main Street vendors gave trick or treaters a chance to re-do Halloween on a spring-like Saturday, after Hurricane Sandy put a damper on the annual ritual. Organizer Nancy Sinoway declared it "a day to finally smile.”

It's unfrtunate that with all of the emergency messages from Peter form of the PWOEM nothing was netioned about Halloween which I only found out about from the Patch site. Our little dog Lucy was a mean Wicked Witch or the West. Thanks goes out to those who made this possible it is the type of thing which makes Port Washington a special Community to live in.

Sorry for the misspellings, The message received came from Mr. Peter Forman of the Voluteer PW Office of Emergency Managment who i give a lot of credit to for their efforts to do what no other agency adequately did durring the storms.
