Thank You to all of the competitors who poured their heart and soul into the competition. It officially started at 6AM Sunday morning but the preparation, testing new recipes and research started months ago. Congrats to David McConn and his Daddy McQue's team of one! He was the fourth different winner (in four years) of the coveted Karmacue Cook-Off and should enjoy his reign as Port Washington BBQ Champion. Big thanks to everyone that attended the event as well. It is truly becoming a Port Washington tradition. Additional thanks to HarborQ, Wings Plus, Baked to Perfection, North Shore Farms, Dvora's Peave/Love Art Studio, Dueling Elvis (band), Evil Prince Ludwig (band), Michael Karl (Magician), The Hare Family, Christine Panico, The Lutheran Church, The Methodist Church, Landmark on Main St., Commissioner Franklin, our devoted staff and extended family who all donated their time and profits to this event. We are proud to have supported the Port Washington Community Chest by raising over ten-thousand dollars to-date through Karmacue. Please learn more about what they do at PortChest.org.
