Long Island Restaurant Week Is On

Port Washington restaurants join the event.

The sixth annual Long Island Restaurant Week is on, with dozens of participating restaurants.

Restaurants will offer $24.95 menus of three dinner choices, appetizers and desserts.

This year, partnering with Long Island Restaurant Week and L.I. Tweetup, several restaurants will collect donations for Island Harvest  and host meetings between L.I.Tweetup members to benefit Island Harvest.

Five restaurants, including Thyme Restaurant in Roslyn, Vittorio's in Amityville,  in Huntington, Grasso's in Cold Spring Harbor, and Nick & Toni's in East Hampton, will collect donations of cash, non-perishable food or supermarket cards to .

The event runs all week, ending Nov. 13.
