Open for Christmas

Places about town that are open for business.

If you're looking for places that are open on Christmas Day, take heart. Whether you want to grab a bite or see a movie – a holiday tradition, for some – you have some choices right here in Port Washington. Also, for last minute ingredients, or fresh flowers for the holiday, some shops are open, though hours may be limited.

Here's a roundup. 

 is open from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 is open, but stop in early as the hours are from 7 a.m. to approximately 10 a.m.

 is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

 on Shore Road, from 4 a.m. to 11 p.m.  on Main Street is open, 24 hours. 

 is open from 11:30 a.m. through 11 p.m.

is open until after 10 p.m.

 from 12:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Special Holiday meals available, in addition to regular menu.

 is open from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 begins showing movies at 11:15 a.m. Last movie starts 10:20 p.m.

Christmas Day movies include "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader," "Gulliver's Travels," "How Do You Know," "Little Fockers," "Tangled," "Tron: Legacy," "True Grit," and "Yogi Bear." Check the theater for schedule and times. 

 features a regular menu  from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. No reservations are required.

Rite-Aid at  and also on  are both open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Regular menu. 

At  a regular menu will be available, 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. No reservations are required.

 from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
